プライベートバンカー

久しぶりに自分用に本を買いました。

2人目の子供が生まれてから心の余裕が無く、全く本を買ってなかったので、2,3年ぶりになります。

去年は本当に忙しかったなー。

買収案件を一件クロージングさせたと思ったら新しい買収案件がスタートし、その合間に海外支店を設立したり中期経営計画の骨子を作成、更に自社と同程度の大型買収案件プロジェクトに参画したり。。

家に帰っても、湊の夜泣きがあったり、それで奥さんも寝不足になって、気の休まる時がなかったり。

子供2人で風邪を移し合い、その度に陸が中耳炎になり高熱を出したり。

普段は子育てと仕事で疲れて、そもそも本屋に行く余裕さえありませんでした。

今回父親の法要で1人帰省することになり、久しぶりに1人になる時間が出来たので、新大阪駅構内の本屋に立ち寄り、面白そうな本を見つけたので手に取ったのです。

「プライベートバンカー」。

山一証券の最期を描いた「しんがり」の作者である、清武英利さんの最新作です。

あの巨人のナベツネさんとやり合って、有名になった方ですね。

個人的に富裕層と付き合うプライベートバンカーに興味があったのですが、普段中々内実を知る機会がないので、買いました。

主人公は元野村証券の営業マン。

野村証券に嫌気をさして、シンガポールのプライベートバンカーに就職し、自分の顧客を横取りしようとする上司との戦いに奮闘します。

終盤は、主人公の物語から離れてしまい、あれれと言う感もありますが、富裕層は富裕層なりの悩みや孤独と向き合う場面は興味深いです。

ちなみに主人公は実名の実存する人物だと言うからスゴイ！

夜泣きだったり、国税からの泣き寝入りだったり、みんな色々な悩みを抱えているものです。
